(This means that when you come twice you get a free class in that same week)
No need to sign up for one day/time. Passes allow access to all classes. Come as often as you can on whatever day you can. Feel free to come to the next class that you are able. Passes can be purchased before or after class. HST is included in all fees. Class and Workshop fees are not refundable
I incorporate many styles of yoga as needed in each class. Classes are always different depending on the needs of the group that forms. Class begins with an inquiry of how everyone is at that moment. Then the class develops from there to address the specific needs of those in attendance. Classes range from slow and restorative to flowing movements to intense. There is always emphasis on the breath and how it assists you in your practice. Class ends with various forms relaxation or meditation, again as it comes through for the group. The aim is to bring about a balance or reintegration of body, breath and mind and experience the many healing benefits of yoga. Students of all levels are welcome to these classes.
Gentle Yoga is a class structured around rejuvenating and healing the body. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps are often used for safe practice, and to allow the body to fully achieve each position comfortably. Therapeutic in nature this class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, strengthening and creating support while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles. A great class for those who enjoy a slower class, beginners or those with health concerns. A fantastic class for stress reduction.
This class provides targeted self-massage trigger point therapy by using a selection of balls and focused movement. This invaluable therapeutic series helps to penetrate through layers of skin, fascia and muscle and massage deeply into your high tension areas. You will need to have what balls you have available handy as well as a yoga block if you have one. We will check in to begin with and personalize the class to those that show up.
